When I came back from X-mas vacation nearly two months ago, I got a fairly long telephoto zoom lens for my Pentax K1000. It's not too bad; the latest photos were taken with that lens.

It's a CPC 80-200mm f/4 lens. I scored it for $59 from B&H in New York City.

Not surprisingly, it's got the barrel distortion at around 80mm or so, but at 100mm and up, it's very useful, though a bit soft at 200mm. As with all of my lenses, it has an A setting, so it'll work with the meter in the advanced modes from any of the Pentax digital slr's... when I finally get one, that is. This one should work really well with the newer dslr's.

Hopefully, this'll be useful for those squirrel exposes (expoSAYs). We shall see.
